The Cellar Wine Bar in Penticton

After hearing of this place finally decided to give it a try. Boy have I been missing something. Excellent food and large portions. Great value for your money. Service was excellent...will definitely be back.

The restaurant is clean and well appointed, the food is all in all pretty good and well priced. We stopped in for lunch on a Monday afternoon and loved the patio. The wine and liquor options are expansive and cover all the bases. My only real gripe was our server, he was courteous and knowledgeable, but seemed really disinterested in our order or with checking on our table. We would certainly return the next time we're in Penticton to compare, but it left us feeling a little put off.

Love this place so much, great atmosphere and the food is divine. Favorites are the dolmades and halibut entree. This wine pictured was to die for along with the halibut.

Got seated pretty fast then sat at our table for about 20 mins before a server even acknowledge us and said that she would be by. We wait for another 15 mins with still no one even coming to take our drink order or greet us. We eventually just left because none of the servers even cared to help us despite walking past us multiple times. The restaurant was also relatively empty so why we were left without so much as a hello from our server us astonishing. Definitely will not being coming back.

Mainly good food and friendly service. The Moroccan lamb was delicious but the fish taco starters were heavy on the salad with very little fish and not much flavor.The concept is confusing. Its a wine bar but there is a saddle near the bar. The menu has many Greek dishes but they also serve steak. The tv shows rodeo.Is it trying to be all things to all people?The place was very quiet on a Wednesday but looked busier on a Thursday.

Really loved this restaurant. We visited on our first night in Penticton and we couldn't have been happier! Delicious food, amazing service and the most friendly and kind management. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a big wine selection and some authentic and finger-licking good Greek food!

The food is very good here, Steaks and lamb excellent. Beautiful Greek salad with Macedonian Feta. Sikotakia, saganaki and other appies all very good. Love the Okanagan wines. Beautiful interior and nice patio. Service is great. ☺

I had the Paidakia and my companion had the New York Steak. I found the Paidakia to be excellent and she likewise enjoyed the New York.

Such amazing food, honestly what a gem of a place to go to. I can't wait to go back for more. Great food, awesome patio, amazing staff and just a great little place to eat and unwind with friends.

Came here once during Peach fest and we waited 2 hours for our food but I gotta say it was worth the wait and we will be back. Very tasty.

I was on vacation in Penticton. I went to this restaurant 3 times in one week. The food, the atmosphere, and service were excellent!

Amazing place to stop and eat! Only place I've ever seen a Greek coffee - it didn't disappoint. We also had the Epic burger and the ginger beer salad wraps, sooo amazing!

Worst service ever 20 people for my moms birthday (it was a reservation!) and cant get a drink kids food comes out last and burger is burnt servers ignored you you absolutely the worst resturant experience ever last time was amazing that's why we came back and total dissapointment this time! Most of the food was amazing but the kids food was terrible!

Our food was absolutely excellent! Our server, Tim, was kind, gave good recommendations and was very prompt. Definitely get the black and blue steak!! A wonderful selection of local wines too! Highly recommend!!

We visited the Cellar on Wednesday July 22nd for my friends birthday during our vacation in pentiction and I have to say that our server Tim was fantastic! Being someone who works in the hospitality business it's very hard to find attentive and professional service however Tim hit the bar high! I never complain, but my steak was unfortunately overcooked but without even having to finish my sentence Tim noticed the mistake and corrected it. The remake steak was PERFECT.We appreciate Tim and the company for making our friends birthday a memorable one! We will definitely be stopping in during our next visit to Pentiction.

Amazing food & service everytime. One of the best romantic meeting spots. Just had a spectacular meal there a couple weeks back. Pickled beats, lettuce ginger beef wraps & seafood soup... so good! Plus the owners are very supportive of the community...

Such a nice place for lunch or dinner. Their saganaki was delicious - came back for another serving! Great staff as well! Kristina and the evening server made us a delicious chocolate Martina even though it wasn’t on the menu. Beautiful views of penticton as well!

Very nice spot. Not a lot of vegan options but great for meat lovers. Great service. Tim was above excellent.

To start with, the calamari was overcooked and was quite small with only 3 pieces of jalapeno in the entire dish. Drinks were ok. My $42 steak was served sizzling in a fajita platter, smoking out the entire table as I had to eat it quickly before it overcooked in front of me. The "crispy" onions quickly absorbed all the moisture on the platter and were soon too soggy to eat. Also, my vegetables with the dish were served on a separate plate so I sat there watching them get cold while waiting for the steak, which I didn't even finish. It somehow had no flavor. The blue cheese butter I was looking forward to was basically not existent. Like other reviews have stated, the fish tacos were 85% lettuce. To top it all off, the couple we were with got their food first and were completely finished their meal before we received ours. We voiced our concerns but were not given any comps on the bill.

We love coming here for dinner, always a wonderful experience, the food seems to be even better every time! Super delicious and fresh, a great wine selection and courteous competent staff. Always a 5 star experience here!

My Mom and I ate on the patio for lunch. I had the white wine garlic mussels. The portion size was huge and they were delicious. Our server was very nice and efficient.

A great place to feel welcome and warm while eating and drinking some of the best BC has to offer. This is the NY steak greek salad, pita and tzatziki.
